Hearing Dogs come in all sizes, shapes, and colors. They may be pure bred or mixed breeds. They have similar characteristics, they like to work, they are very alert to their surroundings, and they thrive on learning.

Molly is currently training to become a Hearing Dog.

Not all dogs are suited for Service Dog work.

Terrier breeds can make good Hearing Dogs.

Contact us by telephone or email to recieve your applicaton form.

Submit the application documenting program eligibility.

A testing of the dog is required in order to determine if there is appropriate temperament and sound alertness needed for training.

If you do not have a dog, we can help you look for a candidate.

Hours of Operation

Times, dates and location of the training classes vary.

Classes generally start in February, continue through November. They are currently held at TACID. Each team must start in February. Due to the progressive nature of the class, we are unable to allow mid-year entries.
